W12 Together Wellbeing Festival
Saturday 7 September , 11.30am - 6.00pm
Planning Aid for London volunteers and will be running a stall at the W12 Together Wellbeing Festival. We
- Had a Spinning Wheel competition with the chance to win prizes
- Drawing activities for young people to design a new and improved space in Tower Hamlets
- Spoke to residents about upcoming housing developments in Shepherds Bush and suggested ways to get involved and influence them
Festival of Communities (CANCELLED BY ORGANISER)
Saturday 8 June , 11.30am - 4.30pm
Planning Aid for London volunteers and will be running a stall at the Festival of Communities. We will:
- Have a Spinning Wheel competition with the chance to win prizes
- Drawing activities for young people to design a new and improved space in Tower Hamlets
- Share information about an upcoming Planning surgery session for residents
Hammersmith Summer Street Fest
Saturday 1 June , 11.00am - 7.00pm
Planning Aid for London volunteers ran a stall at Hammersmith Summer Street Fest. We had:
- A Spinning Wheel competition with the chance to win prizes
- Asked people to use materials provided by us to design a future space in Hammersmith
- Shared information about an upcoming Planning surgery session for residents
Palmers Green Festival, Broomfield Park
Sunday 3 September, 12.00pm - 5.00pm
Returning for the first time since 2020 is the Palmers Green Festival. Run by the Friends of Broomfield Park, Palmers Green Festival is a community event with a variety of activities, food and art for you to enjoy. Planning Aid for London had a stall at this event and spoke to over 100 people about planning, their concerns about housing, transport, the environment and green spaces in Enfield.
The Lambeth Country Show, Brockwell Park
Saturday 10 June - Sunday 11 June , 1.00pm - 7.00pm
Back in the heart of Lambeth, we ran a stall at the Lambeth Country Show. This gave the Planning Aid for London volunteers and Trustees the opportunity to meet over 200 people and spread the word about our work and the important role that communities can play in planning.
