Online workshop: having a say in new housing development in Thames Ward

Join Planning Aid for London and the Thames Ward Community Project for an online workshop looking at new housing development and regeneration in Thames Ward. We will discuss how a resident-led forum could help shape new development and planning processes, so that local people can have a say in how the area is changing.

What we will cover during the workshop

This first workshop will focus on:

  • How new housing development such as the Barking Riverside development have affected residents in Thames Ward
  • What future development is planned for Thames Ward and how this might impact existing challenges
  • What people's rights are in the planning system and how they can use these
  • How a resident-led planning forum might work

During the online workshop we have time for questions and to discuss possible future actions.
