Library explained

Learn more about what is in the planning library.

To make it easier to find information you need, the library has been organised based on themes and types of resources.

Our library is divided in twenty different thematic sections. The first three focus, introduction to planning, advanced planning and neighbourhood planning, hocus on how the planning system works. The other themes cover topics related to planning. Some resources cover multiple themes, and therefore have multiple tags. For each theme we have briefly explained what topics you might expect to be covered.

The resources have also been categorised based on their type. Depending on what type of information you need, you might want to explore a specific section of the library. For example, if you are looking for evidence on a particular topic to include in your community plan, you go to the evidence section.
