Understanding and influencing future development on estates in Southwark

*If you missed the workshop but would like to know more about the outcomes, please go here*

Are you concerned about new development near or on your estate? Join our online workshop on the 25th of March (6pm-7.30pm) to find out how Southwark Council is looking to develop existing estates in the future. The workshop will focus on where you can find if your estate will be affected, and what you can do to have a say in the process.

What we will cover during the workshop

  • Southwark Council's new policies for building on estates and how this might affect you
  • Which estates are likely to experience rooftop development
  • What your rights are as a tenant and/or resident
  • What you can do to have a say in future development on your estate

There will be space during the online workshop to ask questions and discuss what actions you can take.

Planning Aid for London (PAL) organises this workshop together with Southwark Group of Tenants Organisation and Southwark Law Centre. PAL is an independent organisation working with people to help them understand how regeneration and planning will affect their community. We offer advice to people who want to know how they can influence change in their neighbourhood.
